Junior Operations Manager
Manchester is a city defined by its commercial momentum and industrial heritage. At Bloom Manchester, we mirror that energy. We are currently looking for a Junior Operations Manager to join our Manchester City Centre team. This is a central role designed for a professional who is serious about a career in business leadership, commercial management, and operational excellence. We are looking for an individual who is driven, direct, and ready to take on the responsibility of supporting a fast-paced, growing business.
Our Culture and Commitment to Growth
At Bloom Manchester, our success is rooted in our people. We operate with a people-first philosophy, investing heavily in professional development because we believe that personal growth and company growth are inseparable. Our culture is built on fairness, transparency, and supportive leadership, maintaining high standards within a positive, collaborative environment. We actively combat stagnancy by ensuring hard work is recognised with performance-based bonuses and increased responsibility. We prioritise internal progression over external hiring, providing a clear path for those who want to build a long-term career within the firm.
The Operational Opportunity
As Junior Operations Manager, you will gain direct exposure to senior decision-making, working alongside consultants on business planning, performance tracking, and growth projects. This is not a passive role; you will receive structured internal coaching and mentorship, learning the mechanics of how a business scales while taking ownership of daily operational efficiency. You will be expected to identify process improvements, coordinate team activity, and represent the firm at professional events. This position is designed for an ambitious individual who wants to move beyond administration and into a genuine leadership trajectory.
Daily Responsibilities and Impact
The Junior Operations Manager will support the smooth running of various departments by focusing on the following areas:
- Coordinating daily operational activities to ensure all business functions are aligned with company goals.
- Monitoring and tracking performance data to identify areas for process improvement.
- Supporting senior management with business planning, report preparation, and project execution.
- Liaising with internal teams and external clients to ensure clear communication and professional service delivery.
- Identifying bottlenecks in current workflows and suggesting commercially viable solutions.
- Overseeing team coordination and ensuring that deadlines across different projects are met consistently.
- Assisting with the onboarding of new operational processes as the business scales.
- Representing the company at professional events and meetings when required.
The Profile of a Successful Candidate
We are looking for someone who is naturally organised, commercially minded, and resilient. To succeed at Bloom Manchester, you must be able to think quickly and stay calm under pressure. You should be someone who values professional standards and understands that growth requires hard work and attention to detail. This role is suited to individuals living in Manchester, Greater Manchester, or the North West who can reliably commute to our city centre office for a full-time, on-site position. You must be an excellent communicator, both in writing and in person, with the ability to hold your own in a corporate environment.
