Bookkeeper (Dental Experience Preferable)
Location: Warrington (with occasional travel to Prestwich and Liverpool)

As we continue to expand, we are seeing an experienced and high organised Bookkeeper with dental industry experience to support the financial operations of our group. We are a busy, patient-focused dental practice looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with previous dental industry experience who understands the financial processes and compliance requirements within a dental environment.
The Role
You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day bookkeeping and financial administration of 4 dental practices, ensuring accurate financial records and supporting the smooth running of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing daily bookkeeping and financial transactions
- Processing invoices, payments, and supplier reconciliations
- Bank reconciliations
- Payroll processing and pension administration
- Managing accounts payable and receivable
- Preparing monthly management reports
- Supporting year-end accounts preparation with external accountants
- Maintaining accurate financial records using accounting software (Xero/Hubdoc/Dext)
- Assisting with budgeting and financial forecasting
Requirements
- Previous bookkeeping experience within a dental practice is prefeerable
- Strong understanding of dental financial processes, including NHS and private billing
- Experience with accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, Sage
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general office systems
Desirable Skills
- AAT qualification or equivalent bookkeeping certification
- Experience working alongside Operation Managers and accountants
- Knowledge of dental software systems such as Dentally

Salary: £18,000 – £24,000 pro rata (3 days per week), depending on experience
