Overview
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Plumber to join our team in the Guilford area. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems across a variety of commercial and residential projects. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to utilise their expertise in a dynamic environment, ensuring high standards of safety and quality. Applicants must be committed to delivering exceptional service and possess a strong understanding of plumbing systems and related mechanical skills.

Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in both commercial and residential properties.
Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and carpentry skills to complete tasks efficiently.
Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and perform preventative maintenance.
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications accurately.
Assist with the assembly of plumbing components and related mechanical systems.
Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely to ensure smooth workflow.
Maintain a clean and organised work environment adhering to health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with team members and clients to ensure project specifications are met within deadlines.
Operate commercial vehicles as required for transportation of tools, materials, or personnel.

Requirements

Proven experience as a qualified plumber with solid knowledge of plumbing systems.
Proficiency in welding, use of hand tools, power tools, and carpentry relevant to plumbing tasks.
Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex plumbing issues effectively.
Basic maths skills for measurements, calculations, and interpreting technical diagrams.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently on-site.
Experience with assembly work related to plumbing components or mechanical systems is desirable.
Valid driving licence suitable for operating commercial vehicles or lorries is preferred.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.

Pay: £40.00-£65.00 per hour
