Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Painter to join our team at Dragon LNG Limited
Main Road, Waterston, Milford Haven, Pembrokeshire, SA73 1DR. As a key contributor to our projects, you will help deliver high-quality painting services that uphold our standards of safety and excellence. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse infrastructure projects and contribute to our company's mission of delivering unmatched service.
- Work is full time and permanent working a nine-day fortnight
- Overtime available on an add hock basis
- Applicants should be able to reliably travel to Milford Haven within one hour of their home address.
Responsibilities
- Maintain all Mast Climbing Work Platforms and equipment ensuring it is prepared and painted in line with company requiremnets
- Be aware of statutory Health and Safety legislation.
- Ensure you comply with the company’s safety arrangements, guidelines and H&S legislation at all times when engaged on company business
- Report any breaches of Health and Safety arrangements committed by employees, visitors, or sub contractors, immediately to your supervisor
- Ensure Paint, thinners, and materials etc are stored correctly
- Ensure all tools are maintained in a safe condition reporting all faults immediately to line manner
- Ensure all hazardous material is correctly disposed of
- Ensure work area is maintained in a tidy and safe manner at all
- Ensure all faulty equipment is segregated and identified as not fit for use
- Display a courteous professional attitude to all other yard users and visitors
- Present a neat professional image, ensuring company clothing is worn where supplied and PPE is always worn in line with BRAND Health and Safety policy, and current Health & Safety legislation
- Co-operate fully with your line supervisors, and manager, contributing to the success of all yard functions
Qualifications
- ICATS L2 or TTP Silver Card preferred
