Community Interest Care is a rapidly expanding, not-for-profit, domiciliary care provider operating in Pembrokeshire & Carmarthenshire. We're looking for our next Team Leader.

We offer exceptionally competitive rates of pay @ £14.60/hour weekday and £14.60/hour weekend. Mileage is 45p a mile. This post will also be paid a fixed monthly addition of £300month.
As a Team Leader your main duties will include:
- Supporting and leading our exceptional team of carers in their work on the ground in our communities
- Supporting our Registered Manager in ensuring our care is safe and effective - this will include taking responsibility for care planning and managing risk
- Managing teams - Including with supervisions and quality standards.
We also believe strongly that no member of our team, no matter how senior, should away from the front line entirely. Part of your time will, therefore, be spent directly providing care to our clients which will include;
- Personal Care : dressing, washing, bathing, and grooming.
- Accompanying the client to activities or to a medical appointment
- Companionship: communicating with and taking an interest in client's needs.
- Helping with household tasks, including, doing weekly shopping, household maintenance, food preparation and assistance with meals.
We're looking for kind, compassionate and naturally caring Individuals who have a real passion for caring for others. The ideal candidate would have/or would be working towards their QCF level 3 in care and have experience in a senior care role. We do ask that applicants have a full UK driving license please.
All applicants will have full support and mentoring right from your application stage. Community Interest Care will cover the cost of your registration with social care Wales and provide all your uniform and PPE.

Note: While this post is 20 hours a week should the successful candidate wish to work full-time additional front-line duties are available to make the 20 hour contract up to full-time (40 hours/week). This would be at the same rate of pay.
