Full job description

COUNTER ASSISTANT

Hake Inn Fish & Chip Shop, Hakin

We are excited to welcome a friendly and dependable Counter Assistant to join our busy and supportive team.

Hours:Minimum 5 evenings per week4:30pm – 9:00pm

Please only apply if you are able to work a minimum of 5 evenings per week.

Key responsibilities include:• Greeting and serving customers• Taking orders and processing payments• Preparing and packing food orders• Keeping work areas clean, organised, and tidy• Supporting general kitchen and cleaning tasks• Delivering excellent customer service• Answering telephone enquiries and taking phone orders• Assisting with stock rotation and replenishing supplies when needed

As this role finishes in the evening, applicants should have reliable transport and be able to travel to and from work consistently. Living locally would be beneficial.

This is a permanent position.
