Qualified Childcare Assistant – Stepping Stones Day Nursery, Haverfordwest

We’re looking for a caring, enthusiastic qualified Childcare Assistant to join our growing team at Stepping Stones Day Nursery, Haverfordwest

We’re seeking a qualified, caring, and enthusiastic person to join our dedicated team. If you’re passionate about early years education and committed to delivering high-quality care, we’d love to hear from you.
At Stepping Stones, we believe that skilled, knowledgeable staff are the foundation of outstanding early years provision. We’re proud to uphold CIW, Flying Start, and Estyn standards, and we’re looking for someone who shares our commitment to professional excellence and child-centred care.

About the Role
As a Childcare Assistant, you’ll work alongside the Room Leader to create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment where children can thrive. You’ll build strong relationships with families and colleagues, contributing to a setting that values wellbeing, development, and play.

What We’re Looking For

A Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education (or equivalent)
Experience working in a nursery or early years setting
Up-to-date training in Safeguarding, Food Safety, and Paediatric First Aid (desirable but training can be provided)
A DBS check and two suitable references will be required prior to appointment
