Job Summary

Join our dedicated team as a Health Care Assistant/Support Worker, where your compassionate nature and proactive attitude will make a meaningful difference in people's lives. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in care homes and home care settings, assisting with daily activities, personal care, and health needs. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help promote independence, dignity, and well-being for those you support. Duties

Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
Support clients in adhering to their personalized care plans to meet their specific needs
Help with daily activities including meal preparation, light housekeeping, and medication reminders
Maintain clear communication with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals to ensure consistent care delivery
Use IT systems to update client records accurately and efficiently
Drive or accompany clients to appointments or outings when required
Monitor and report any changes in clients’ health or behavior promptly to the supervising team

Requirements

Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care support is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
Valid driving license and ability to drive safely are highly desirable for supporting home visits and outings
Excellent communication skills in English to effectively interact with clients and team members
Basic IT skills for updating records and following digital care plans
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to listen actively and show empathy
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
