Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable HGV Class 2 HIAB Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a Class 2 lorry equipped with a HIAB crane, delivering goods efficiently and safely across various locations. The position offers an excellent opportunity for those looking to utilise their specialised driving skills within a dynamic logistics environment.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a Class 2 HGV lorry fitted with a HIAB crane to load, unload, and deliver goods to clients and sites.
Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule, maintaining high standards of customer service.
Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly.
Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs in accordance with company policies.
Follow all relevant health and safety procedures during loading, unloading, and driving activities.
Assist with the manoeuvring of the vehicle in tight spaces or challenging environments when necessary.
Comply with all legal requirements for commercial driving and transportation.

Qualifications

Valid HGV Class 2 licence with a clean driving record.
Experience with HIAB cranes is essential; certification or training in HIAB operation is highly desirable..
Good organisational skills and the ability to plan routes effectively.
Strong understanding of health and safety regulations related to commercial vehicle operation.
Ability to work independently, demonstrating reliability and professionalism at all times.
