We are seeking a dedicated Farm Worker to join our small team. Our primary business is seed potatoes, and we are looking for a keen individual to join us for harvesting and grading on a full-time six-month contract, with an option to extend to a permanent contract for the right candidate.
The ideal candidate will be reliable, possess practical skills, have an ability to follow instructions, display a willingness to learn, and have a strong work ethic.

General Responsibilities:
Assisting with rogueing, harvesting, grading and packing of potatoes.
Operating farm machinery, including tractors and implements.
Maintaining farm equipment, including performing repairs and routine maintenance using power tools and hand tools.
Assisting with the utilisation of specialised machinery for planting, topping, harvesting and grading.
General farm upkeep and landscaping, including weeding and fencing.
Requirements:
Be hard-working, reliable and work well as part of a small team, including regular work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Ability to perform varied manual handling tasks safely and efficiently.
Basic maths skills for inventory management and measurement tasks.
Practical skills in operating power tools, hand tools, and basic machinery knowledge is advantageous, but not essential.
Previous experience or knowledge of potato farming or farm operations is desirable but not essential; training will be provided where necessary.
Seeking a six-month contract, full-time hours with overtime opportunities, with the potential of a permanent full-time position depending on performance after the six month period. Accommodation and transport can be discussed.
