Full job description

CNC Setter / Operator – Various machines including mills and lathes

We are looking for an experienced CNC Setter / Operator to join our growing engineering team manufacturing high-precision components.

The successful candidate will have experience setting and operating CNC milling and turning machines and be capable of working to tight tolerances with a strong focus on quality.

Key Responsibilities

Setting and operating CNC mills and lathes
Producing precision-engineered components to drawing specifications
Loading tools, setting offsets, and carrying out basic program edits where required
Inspecting finished components using measuring equipment
Maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy
Working efficiently to meet production schedules

Requirements

Previous experience as a CNC Setter / Operator
Experience with CNC milling and turning machines
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
Experience using measuring equipment such as micrometers, verniers, and gauges
Good attention to detail and quality-focused mindset
Reliable and able to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable Skills

Experience with Siemens, Mazatrol, Fanuc controls advantageous
Previous experience producing precision components
Basic programming knowledge beneficial
