Salary: Circa £64,000 depending on experience
Dynamic (hybrid) working: 5 days per week on-site due to workload classification

The opportunity:
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer who will take ownership of the stability and quality of our products – used to ensure the reliability of our Command-and-Control Systems. This role centres on resolving complex issues, improve system reliability and reducing technical debt – by identifying root causes and implementing durable fixes.
You'll develop deep knowledge of our architecture and play a key role in making the platform reliable, resilient, and easier for the rest of the engineering team to build on.
The work you'll do directly affects customer experience, engineering velocity, and overall product health.
What we're looking for from you:
Previous Software Engineering Experience
Willingness to learn and develop in ADA. With a strong software engineering background preferably demonstrating knowledge of key concepts through experience of C++, Java or Rust.
Experience of working within an Agile development environment
Working with CI/CD pipelines including writing of Automated Test Scripts
A willingness to build deep system architecture understanding
Experience of performance tuning and root-cause analysis.
