Job Title: Maths Teacher
Location: Willow Park School, Milton Keynes, MK14 6LJ
Hours: 40 per week | Monday to Friday | 8.00am – 4.00pm
Salary: £39,000.00 - £43,000.00 per annum (depending on experience, not pro rata)
Contract: Permanent | Term Time Only
Start: September 2026

About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Maths Teacher to join a thriving specialist SEMH school. Reporting to the Assistant Headteacher, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality teaching and supporting positive outcomes for pupils, both academically and personally. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is flexible, resilient and passionate about working in a specialist setting.
You will be responsible for delivering engaging Maths lessons and contributing to a supportive, inclusive and trauma-informed learning environment where pupils can succeed.
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Maths teaching that supports strong progress and attainment
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to meet the needs of all pupils
- Use assessment effectively to monitor progress and inform teaching
- Contribute to the development and implementation of Maths curriculum and practice
- Support pupils’ personal development, wellbeing and engagement in learning
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure effective curriculum delivery
- Teach across a range of subjects where required, including off-site provision if needed
- Make effective use of resources to enhance learning outcomes
About you:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching Maths at KS3 and/or KS4 in a specialist or mainstream setting
- A strong commitment to inclusive, pupil-centred practice
- Passionate about making learning engaging, accessible and meaningful
- Able to work proactively and use your own initiative
- Resilient, adaptable and committed to supporting pupils with SEMH needs
