Duties
- Assist with installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings
- Use hand tools and power tools to cut, assemble, and install pipes and fixtures
- Learn to operate welding equipment for specialised pipework tasks
- Support with the assembly of plumbing components and systems
- Conduct basic measurements and calculations using mathematical skills to ensure accurate fitting and installation
- Assist with carpentry tasks related to plumbing projects where necessary
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment at all times
- Follow health and safety protocols diligently during all tasks
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of plumbing principles and mechanical systems is preferred but not essential; willingness to learn is crucial
- Experience with welding, hand tools, power tools, carpentry, or assembly is advantageous
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively
- Good understanding of basic maths for measurements and calculations
- Valid driving licence for commercial driving duties is desirable but not mandatory at entry level
