Full job description

Job Summary

We are currently looking to recruit staff members to join our factory floor team within the Sealed Unit Line department at Toughglaze UK Ltd.

Key Responsibilities

This role will involve working within the production process of sealed units, carrying out regular glass inspections, working with spacer bars cutting them to measure and fitting them as well as ensuring all products meet our quality standards. We are looking for individuals who:

Have basic computer skills
Are confident problem-solvers
Have excellent attention to detail
Are willing to inspect glass and monitor quality throughout production
Can work well as part of a team in a fast-paced factory environment

The ideal candidate will be reliable, organised, quality-conscious, and able to maintain high standards of accuracy and care. A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and the ability to follow processes carefully are all important qualities for this role.

We are looking for motivated individuals who are keen to develop within the company and become part of our growing team.

Process Optimization

Identify areas for improvement within the sealed unit line and suggest enhancements to processes or workflows.
Ensure efficient use of materials to minimise waste and control costs.
Collaborate with team members to streamline production flow.

Health and Safety

Adhere to all company health and safety policies and procedures.
Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
Participate in safety drills and training sessions as required.
