Full job description

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Sous Chef to join our friendly team in our small, cosy village pub. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who takes pride in preparing fresh, high-quality food and enjoys working in a busy, professional kitchen.

What we’re looking for:

Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef in a pub or restaurant.
Strong knowledge of fresh food preparation and British cuisine.
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards.
Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
A positive attitude and team-focused approach.
Knowledge of food hygiene and HACCP procedures.

Your responsibilities:

Support the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen.
Prepare and cook high-quality dishes to a consistently high standard.
Help develop seasonal menus and daily specials.
Maintain excellent food safety, cleanliness and stock control.
Lead the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence.

Pay: £28,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
