Overview

We are seeking an energetic and motivated Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations at our bustling food service establishment. Duties

Lead and supervise restaurant staff, including hiring, training, coaching, and evaluating team members to foster a motivated and high-performing environment
Oversee food preparation, cooking processes, and food safety protocols to ensure consistent quality and compliance with health regulations
Manage daily restaurant operations, including shift scheduling, inventory control, and cash handling using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS
Ensure excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries, resolving complaints promptly, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere
Monitor food production and kitchen management activities to optimize efficiency while maintaining high culinary standards
Conduct staff training sessions on food handling, safety procedures, and service excellence to promote continuous improvement
Control costs through budgeting, inventory management, and waste reduction strategies while maximizing profitability

Requirements

Proven experience in restaurant management or food service management roles within quick service & fast food or casual dining environments
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking processes, and kitchen management practices
Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for transaction processing and reporting
Demonstrated supervisory experience with skills in staff training & development, interviewing, and team management
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs professionally
Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and health regulations applicable to the hospitality industry
Ability to manage shift schedules effectively while maintaining operational flow during busy hours
Experience with inventory control, budgeting, catering operations (including banquet experience), and bar or coffee service is a plus
