Job Overview
We are seeking a professional, reliable and highly organised Family Assistant / Household PA to provide day-to-day support for a private family based in Cardiff, South Wales.

Working closely with and reporting directly to the principal of the household and the company director at Dreams & Purpose, a busy business professional, this is a varied role supporting both his 14 year old daughter, his 65 year old mother and his personal life, helping to ensure the smooth running of daily family and household life.

The position typically covers six days per week, Monday through Saturday, though we are open to a five-day schedule excluding Wednesdays.

Certain days will be set hours some school runs and pick ups but we are open to evolving the schedule and hours as the role grows to ensure the best fit for all.

Duties will include:

School runs, pick ups and after-school activity support
Managing appointments
Drive and accompany grandmother/daughter for any social events including afternoon teas/coffees and day trips
Travel planning and coordination
Light homework support and general supervision
Food shopping and household errands
Cooking and light household cleaning duties
Household organisation and day-to-day family assistance

The ideal candidate will be warm, proactive, discreet and dependable, with previous experience in a similar family support, nanny, PA or household assistant role.

Essential requirements:

Full UK driving licence - family vehicle can be provided if needed
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Trustworthy, flexible and professional manner
Previous experience working within private households or family support roles preferred

This is a varied position with flexibility required at times to support the needs of the family.

This role is not working directly for Dreams & Purpose.

Pay: £28,000.00 per year
