Job Description: Installation and Support Engineer – Swindon/ M4 Corridor/London

Attention, self-motivated Installation and Support Engineers! We have an exciting opportunity in our Installation and Support Engineer and we want to hear from YOU. If you are an experienced Security Engineer working in this environment and would like to build on your knowledge and experience in this role, keep reading to find out what we’re looking for and how you could fit into our team here at iFacility.

Our tech keeps people and property safe up and down the country, doing things like helping businesses tackle the scourge of shoplifting and making sure food production lines are getting it right. What you’d be doing in this role

Installing Security Systems - according to system design specification adhering to industry Standards
Scheduled Maintenance Checks - as per the agreed standards to all areas of installed security systems
Problem Solving- trouble shoot, fault find, resolve or replace issues with security hardware and cabling
Site Visits -complete all field visit paperwork for both installation and maintenance visits as per the agreed iFacility standards before leaving site
Training Customers - on iFacility systems on site
Communication -update customers with outcomes of visits to sites, confirm next actions and revisits as required. Making sure this information is conveyed to the remote support team to arrange next actions and revisits
Specialist Knowledge- personal learning and updates in knowledge of systems used and changes to hardware and installation methods
Following Company and Legislative Procedures -Adhere to all Health and Safety training and legislation, keeping your knowledge updated to reflect changes within this field
Personal Growth and Development -participation in in-house or external training activities including certification and H&S training as required
Any other duties required - to carry out the role of Installation and Support Engineer

At a glance: the qualifications we’ll be looking for

Hold a valid CSCS / ECS card or be prepared to attend training
Installation, routine maintenance and troubleshooting experience on Intruder system
Installation, routine maintenance and troubleshooting for Access systems
Installation, routine, maintenance and experience on CCTV systems and data installations.
Understanding of quality standards
UK Driving licence – Essential
Computer Literate
Experience of working on a range of brands of manufacturer security products such as Hikvision, Hanwha, Paxton and Orisec
Have a good range of experience in different business sectors such a retail, manufacturing, security installation
Experience of using hand and power tools for the installation of CCTV Systems
Demonstrate attention to detail while installing and maintaining systems
Set an example of excellent quality and safety when installing security systems.
