Job description

We are looking for reliable, hardworking individuals to join our Core Services Team as General Labourers. This role is perfect for students, seasonal workers, or anyone wanting additional part-time income.

As a General Labourer, you will support our operations team by helping keep everything running smoothly. This is a hands-on role in an industrial environment, involving manual lifting, organising materials, and maintaining workspace cleanliness.

The tasks associated with the position include but are not restricted to:

handling and preparing core samples for testing
assisting laboratory technicians with daily tasks
keeping the lab areas clean and disposing of waste safely
loading, unloading and moving materials around the premises
following health and safety procedures, including correct PPE use

REQUIREMENTS:

No formal qualifications required, but experience in a lab, warehouse, or industrial setting is beneficial
Physically fit and able to lift/move heavy materials
Reliable, safety-conscious, and willing to learn
Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Available to work evenings and weekends

HOURS & FLEXIBILITY:

Part-time evenings and weekends shifts
Zero-hour or 2-3 months temporary contracts available
Ideal for fitting around classes, other work, or family commitments
Immediate starts available
