Our salon offers a wide range of services, including hair, beauty, aesthetics, nails, skin care, and eyelash extensions. We are looking for a motivated and commercially minded Salon Manager who can help drive the business forward and make a real difference to sales and client experience.

The role

Join our dynamic salon as a Hair and Beauty Salon Manager, where your leadership will inspire a talented team of stylists and beauty professionals to deliver outstanding client experiences.

This is an exciting opportunity to oversee daily operations, manage appointments, drive sales, and create a welcoming environment that keeps clients returning. As a key member of the team, you will combine management expertise with a passion for beauty and customer service to help the salon run smoothly, efficiently, and profitably.

In addition to managing the salon, the role will also involve serving clients directly and delivering a high standard of personal service.

Key responsibilities

Lead and supervise salon staff, including stylists, beauticians, receptionists, and support personnel
Create a positive, professional, and motivated team environment
Oversee daily operations to maintain excellent customer service, cleanliness, and health and safety standards
Manage appointment scheduling, client consultations, and service delivery to maximise client satisfaction and retention
Book clients efficiently and support the smooth running of the salon
Serve clients directly and provide a high standard of personal service
Drive sales and increase revenue through effective management and client engagement
Promote retail sales through merchandising strategies and personalised product recommendations
Handle administrative duties such as inventory management, payroll processing, and record keeping
Implement marketing initiatives to attract new clients and promote special offers or seasonal campaigns
Maintain professional communication with clients through excellent phone and in-person etiquette
Follow all company SOPs and uphold high operational standards
Support the salon’s growth by identifying opportunities to improve performance and sales

What we are looking for

Level 3 qualified in hair and beauty or a related field
Proven management experience within a hair or beauty salon environment
Previous supervisory experience leading a team
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
Excellent communication skills, with bilingual ability highly desirable
Strong retail management experience with a focus on sales growth and merchandising
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Knowledge of salon operations, including scheduling software, inventory control, and customer service protocols
Experience in sales management or team supervision within retail or service industries is preferred
Professional, reliable, and committed to delivering high standards
