Full job description

Countrywide Grounds Maintenance is one of the UK's leading grounds maintenance and landscaping companies. We provide a wide and varied range of services including grounds maintenance, horticulture, arboriculture, and landscaping, to both the public and private sector clients.

Duties may include:

To operate a range of commercial equipment including ride-on mowers, strimmer’s, hedge cutters, long arms etc.
To ensure all machinery, equipment and vehicles are well maintained at all times
Ensuring all machinery, equipment, and vehicles used are clean, present, safely stored, free from rubbish, and fit for purpose.
Over marking of sports pitches
Mowing grass areas
Strimming
Pruning shrubs and hedges with mechanical and hand-operated equipment.
Weeding
Leaf collecting
Edging
Digging/forking of beds and borders
Deadheading of flowers
Planting new areas
Soil preparation

A driving license and trailer experience is essential as you will be covering the South Yorkshire area of Sheffield Barnsley and Rotherham.
PA1 and PA6 would be desirable (training will be given to the right candidate)

Winter - gritting - high rates of overtime pay

Monthly attendance bonus after probationary period.

Additional notes:

There is a chance that work may involve working with children and vulnerable adults
Applicants will be required to complete an Enhanced DBS background check
