We are looking for a confident, motivated, and resilient Outbound Cold Calling Sales Representative to join our growing team. In this role, you will contact homeowners to introduce our home improvement services, generate interest, and book appointments or secure sales. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy speaking with people, overcoming objections, and achieving sales targets in a fast-paced call centre environment.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a strong desire to succeed. Previous outbound sales or cold calling experience is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided.
Duties
- Make high-volume outbound calls to homeowners using company-provided leads and data.
- Introduce and promote our range of home improvement services, including windows, doors, conservatories, roofing, insulation, and other home improvement solutions.
- Identify customer needs and qualify potential sales opportunities.
- Book appointments for field sales consultants or close sales where applicable.
- Build rapport with prospective customers and maintain a professional, friendly telephone manner.
- Handle objections confidently and effectively while maintaining a positive customer experience.
- Accurately update customer information, call outcomes, and follow-up activities using the company CRM system.
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly call, appointment, and sales targets.
- Follow company processes and comply with all relevant sales and data protection regulations.
- Work closely with the sales team and management to maximise conversion opportunities.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in outbound cold calling, telesales, call centre sales, or customer service is preferred.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confident and persuasive telephone manner.
- Strong objection-handling and negotiation skills.
- Target-driven with a positive attitude and a desire to earn commission.
- Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls each day.
- Basic IT skills with experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage follow-up activities effectively.
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.
