About the role:

As part of the Commercial Team, the Quantity Surveyor will;

Prepare accurate cost estimates and pricing for EV installation projects and ongoing services, covering design, supply chain, installation, and connection works.
Review drawings, specifications and tender documents to produce clear bills of quantities and commercial pricing models.
Evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations alongside Procurement and Commercial teams to ensure best value, compliance, and risk control.
Partner with project and design teams to validate quantities, assess build methodologies, and ensure costs align with budgets.
Support value engineering, cost optimisation and risk management to protect margins and deliver against commercial KPIs.
Engage confidently with internal and external stakeholders to ensure pricing, variations and cost reporting are transparent, competitive and client‑focused.

Who we’re looking for:

To be successful in this role you’ll ideally have…

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Estimator within construction, grid connections, M&E, installations, energy or EV environments.
Strong knowledge of construction and electrical systems, with a clear understanding of relevant regulations and standards.
Experience in managing and executing standard construction contracts such as JCT or NEC 3+4.
Advanced experience using estimating software and digital tools, with a continuous‑improvement mindset for accurate and efficient cost management.
