About Us Monster Mix Limited are a leading supplier of ready mixed concrete throughout Gloucestershire. Based on Eastern Avenue, Gloucester, we cover a 30-mile radius and pride ourselves on delivering an unrivalled service to customers from point of order to delivery.
The Role We are looking for a full-time, experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to drive and operate one of our ready-mixed concrete drum mixers. Although mixer experience would be beneficial, it is not essential as full training will be provided.
Hours: 07:00–17:00, Monday to Friday (50 hrs/week) Occasional Saturdays
Duties include:
- Carrying out routine vehicle checks
- Making sure that the load is correctly placed
- Driving and operating one of our drum mixers
- Cleaning and basic maintenance of your vehicle
- Adhering to Road Transport legislation at all times
What you need:
- At least one year of HGV Class 2 experience
- Valid DCPC (Driver Certificate of Professional Competence)
- Valid Category C licence
- Physically fit with a polite, friendly manner
- Reliable, punctual and self-motivated
- Friendly, enthusiastic attitude and strong work ethic
- English language proficiency
