Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen operations, ensuring that our culinary team can focus on delivering exceptional dishes. This position is perfect for individuals looking to gain experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hotel environment while contributing to a high standard of hospitality.

Responsibilities

Assist in food preparation and ensure all ingredients are ready for cooking.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including washing dishes, pots, and pans.
Support chefs by keeping workstations stocked with necessary supplies.
Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and maintained properly.
Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
Assist with basic cooking tasks as required, under the guidance of senior kitchen staff.
Help with serving food during busy periods, ensuring timely delivery to guests.

Skills

Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen is advantageous.
Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
A keen interest in culinary arts and hospitality.
