Full job description

Purpose of Role:

We are seeking a full-time Service and Parts Advisor for our Agricultural Supplies business based at Moreleigh, Totnes.

The successful candidate will play a vital role in assisting customers with parts and servicing to ensure smooth operations and after sales backup, helping to drive customer satisfaction and continue business growth.

Duties to include:

Greet customers and handle parts and service enquiries in person at the counter, by phone, and via email.
Book in workshop jobs for servicing, repairs, and warranty.
Prepare estimates, quotations, and service documentation.
Liaise with technicians to schedule and prioritise workshop jobs.
Keep customers informed on repair progress, costs, and completion times.
Process job cards, invoices, and warranty claims.
Assist customers and technicians in identifying and selecting the correct parts for their needs, for a wide range of vehicles, quads, utility vehicles, machinery and equipment using a wide range of lookups.
Process orders efficiently, ensuring timely delivery and proper documentation
Ensure accurate record keeping and maintain service histories.

Support the workshop and parts departments to deliver excellent customer satisfaction

Person Specification:

Technical qualification or experience of working with parts or service in a motor or agricultural service environment
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills and relationship-building skills
A proactive approach to customer service
Be organised, process driven and manage time and workload effectively
Attention to detail and maintain good and accurate quality work
Confident in the use of IT systems; IBCOS experience is a plus but not essential as full training will be provided
Team player who wants to work for a family run business and is willing to multitask

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £29,000/annum depending on experience

Additional pay:
