Full job description

Stobo Castle is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Cocktail Bar Supervisor to join our award-winning Food & Beverage team. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate hospitality professional to lead the cocktail bar operation, deliver exceptional guest experiences, and support the development of a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise the day-to-day operation of the cocktail bar, ensuring excellent customer service at all times.
Train, mentor, and develop bar staff to maintain high service standards, product knowledge, and cocktail preparation techniques.
Prepare and manage weekly staff rotas, ensuring appropriate staffing levels to meet business demands.
Monitor and control bar stock, including ordering, stock rotation, stock takes, and minimising wastage.
Ensure all drinks are prepared and presented to the highest standards and in line with company specifications.
Maintain compliance with licensing laws, food safety regulations, and health & safety procedures.
Support the Food & Beverage management team in achieving sales, cost control, and profitability targets.
Foster a positive team culture, motivating staff to deliver outstanding service.

About You

Previous supervisory experience in a busy cocktail bar or high-quality hospitality environment.
Excellent knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, and premium beverages.
Experience in staff training and coaching.
Strong organisational skills with experience preparing staff rotas and managing stock control.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
A hands-on approach with a passion for delivering exceptional guest service.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
