Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Counter Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a strong ability to engage with customers, providing them with exceptional service. This role requires a blend of sales acumen and organisational skills to manage customer queries effectively while promoting our products.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products that meet their needs.
Handle customer queries via phone and in-person, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
Maintain an organised and visually appealing sales counter through effective merchandising techniques.
Upsell products by understanding customer preferences and suggesting complementary items.
Process transactions accurately using basic math skills for cash handling.
Manage inventory levels and assist in restocking shelves as necessary.
Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Keep up-to-date with product knowledge to provide informed recommendations.
Dealing with building material and agricultural product enquiries.

Requirements

Proficiency in English is essential.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage effectively with customers.
Basic mathematical skills for handling transactions and inventory management.
Excellent time management abilities to prioritise tasks during busy periods.
Organisational skills to maintain an orderly workspace and manage multiple customer requests efficiently.
