The Role

As one of our Receptionists, you'll be the first and last impression of Wotton House, providing a warm, friendly and professional welcome to every guest. You'll play a key role in ensuring every stay is seamless, creating memorable experiences from arrival through to departure while supporting the wider hotel team to deliver exceptional hospitality.

You'll:

Welcome guests with a warm, professional and genuine smile.
Complete guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and accurately.
Respond to guest enquiries, requests and complaints with confidence and care.
Handle reservations, telephone calls and emails in a timely and professional manner.
Process payments and maintain accurate guest accounts.
Promote hotel facilities, dining experiences and local attractions to enhance each guest's stay.
Work closely with Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Maintenance and other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
Maintain high standards of presentation within Reception and the lobby areas.
Ensure guest information is handled accurately and confidentially.
Support the Front Office team with the smooth day-to-day operation of Reception.
Deliver our luxury service standards while bringing the Wonderfully Wotton personality to every interaction.

We're Looking For Someone Who...

Has previous customer service or hospitality experience (hotel experience is desirable but not essential).
Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Thrives in a busy, fast-paced environment.
Can remain calm under pressure and solve problems confidently.
Has excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
Is confident using computer systems (Opera experience is preferred but full training will be provided).
Enjoys working as part of a team while also using their own initiative.
Has a flexible approach to working shifts, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
