Junior Field Service Engineer (Eastern/Southern based)
Salary £27,000 - £30,000 per annum DOI, will increase after successful six-month probation.

Deva Medical is one of the UK’s leading independent medical service and sales providers. Accredited by UKAS to ISO 17025 we can also carry out equipment calibration and temperature mapping, in addition to fully bespoke service and maintenance contracts.

Due to continued growth we are looking for a solid junior field service engineer with some electronics experience who would be able to do steady and regular service and calibration work, with potential for fault diagnosis / repairs, of laboratory equipment. Equipment is based onsite at NHS hospitals and other private customers' premises.

You would start off with 6 months of full training as junior engineer, after which your salary will be increased to that of a non-junior field service engineer.

Ideal location would be within anywhere from Leicester/Peterborough south, as far down as Greater London. Your work would predominately be in that area, but you would need to be prepared to travel all over the UK and sometimes stay overnight when the work requires it.

You would need to be hard working, diligent, have good attention to detail and be happy to do the routine service work on a daily basis. Normal working hours are 8:30am - 5:00pm, Monday-Friday, but there will be some optional overtime and weekend work, where required.

We would offer training/development and you might expect to progress to dealing with faults and additional equipment over time.
