Prime Choice is an independent estate and letting agency that has proudly served Rushden and the surrounding area for over 35 years. Alongside our property business, we also operate a Yorkshire Building Society Agency, giving our customers access to a trusted range of financial services.
We are looking for an experienced person to become an important member of our team.
This is a varied, responsible position suited to someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in delivering excellent customer service, and has the organisational skills to keep a busy office running smoothly.
This is not a trainee position. We're looking for someone who can quickly become a trusted member of the team, confidently managing a wide variety of administrative and customer-facing responsibilities while maintaining high standards of professionalism and accuracy.
The Role
Every day is different. You'll divide your time between providing excellent customer service, supporting our estate agency and lettings business, assisting customers using our Yorkshire Building Society Agency, and ensuring the office operates efficiently behind the scenes.
You'll become a key point of contact for customers while supporting colleagues through accurate administration, excellent organisation and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcoming customers and providing a professional first impression.
- Handling telephone, email and face-to-face enquiries.
- Supporting customers using our Yorkshire Building Society Agency.
- Coordinating appointments, property viewings and valuations.
- Preparing correspondence and standard documentation.
- Maintaining accurate customer records and CRM systems.
- Supporting the administration of property sales and lettings.
- Liaising with landlords, tenants, buyers, sellers and contractors.
- Processing invoices, quotations and general office documentation.
- Ensuring office procedures and regulatory processes are followed accurately.
- Working closely with colleagues to maintain the smooth day-to-day running of the office.
About You
You'll already have experience working in a professional office environment and understand the importance of excellent customer service.
You'll be someone who enjoys being organised, can manage competing priorities and remains calm and professional in a busy office.
You'll also have:
- Previous office administration experience (essential).
- Previous customer service experience (essential).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
- A professional, friendly and positive approach.
- Confidence following established procedures and maintaining accurate records.
Experience within estate agency, lettings, financial services or another regulated industry would be advantageous but is not essential, as full training will be provided.
Working Hours
This is a full-time office-based role at our Rushden office.
The position includes working two Saturdays each month. Typically, one Saturday forms part of a six-day working week, while the second is worked with a weekday taken in lieu, providing a predictable working pattern.
