Regional FM Manager – Northern Region
On-Call Rota: Will be expected to join the duty manager’s roster (Up to 1 in 3 weeks cover)
Salary – DOE & company car or car allowance will be provided
Annual Bonus up to 10% based on performance
Clover Technical Services are looking for an experienced and proactive Manager to join the team. This key role will oversee multiple distribution sites across the Northern region, ensuring facilities operate efficiently, safely, and in full compliance with statutory requirements.
You will be responsible for driving operational performance, managing budgets and service delivery, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and contractors. With a focus on continuous improvement and service excellence, you will take ownership of facilities performance across a diverse portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day facilities management across multiple sites within the Northern region ensuring buildings and services are consistently maintained to the highest standards and aligned with business and client expectations.
- Ensure all planned and reactive maintenance is delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with contractual and legislative requirements.
- Manage team performance (including staff and suppliers), budgets, and KPIs to maintain a high standard of service. Monitor service delivery to ensure minimal disruption to operations and a prompt response to issues.
- Lead, support, and develop on-site teams to deliver operational excellence. Fostering a positive and accountable working culture. Provide clear direction, coaching, and performance management to drive operational excellence and high levels of employee engagement.
- Act as the key point of contact for clients, building strong, professional relationships building and maintaining strong, professional relationships. Provide regular updates, performance reports, and strategic insight to ensure service expectations are consistently met or exceeded.
- Participate in the on-call rota to provide support for urgent out of hours issues. Offering leadership and support for urgent out-of-hours issues, ensuring swift resolution and clear communication with stakeholders.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement, compliance, and safety. Carrying out regular audits and reviews to identify opportunities for service enhancement, risk reduction, and operational efficiency.
About You:
- Proven experience in Facilities Management, ideally within a multi-site or regional role, with a strong track record of successfully overseeing operational delivery across a varied property portfolio. You will be confident managing multiple priorities while maintaining high service standards.
- Strong working knowledge of health and safety legislation, statutory compliance, and FM best practice, with the ability to interpret regulations and ensure full compliance across all sites. Experience managing audits, risk assessments, and contractor compliance is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build credible, professional relationships at all levels. You will be comfortable liaising with clients, contractors, and internal teams, providing clear updates and resolving issues effectively.
- Commercially aware with the ability to manage budgets, control costs, and deliver services within agreed financial targets. You should be confident analysing performance data, managing KPIs, and identifying opportunities for efficiency and value improvement.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the Northern region as required. This role involves regular site visits, so flexibility and strong organisational skills are essential.
