Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Spray Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying paint and coatings to various products and components, ensuring a high-quality finish that meets company standards. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of painting techniques within a dynamic industrial environment.

Duties

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
Mix paints and coatings accurately according to colour specifications and technical requirements.
Operate spray painting equipment efficiently, maintaining consistent application across products.
Use hand tools and power tools to assist in surface preparation and finishing processes.
Conduct quality checks on painted items to ensure uniform coverage and adherence to quality standards.
Perform heavy lifting when handling large or bulky components safely.
Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
Assist in the maintenance and calibration of spray painting equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Experience

Previous experience in spray painting or related industrial coating roles is preferred.
Mechanical knowledge is advantageous for understanding equipment operation and troubleshooting issues.
Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in surface preparation and finishing tasks is desirable.
Ability to undertake heavy lifting safely, demonstrating physical strength and stamina.
Familiarity with safety procedures related to spray painting, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). This position provides an engaging work environment suited for motivated individuals eager to develop their skills within a professional manufacturing setting.

Pay: £15.00-£18.00 per hour
