Job Overview
We are looking for an individual with some knowledge or experience in servicing fire extinguishers. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and servicing fire extinguishers in the Dundee area to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an individual with knowledge of the Dundee area and knowledge of servicing fire extinguishers.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections and testing of fire extinguishers in accordance with legal and safety standards
- Service, recharge, and repair fire extinguishers using appropriate hand tools and power tools
- Install new fire extinguishers at client sites, ensuring correct placement and compliance with regulations
- Maintain detailed records of all inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities
- Identify potential issues through visual inspections and operational tests, recommending necessary corrective actions
- Assist in the development of customised fire safety systems based on client requirement.
Skills
- Clean current UK driving license.
- General knowledge of servicing fire extinguishers.
The successful applicant will be provided with al tools, workwear and company vehicle.
Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
