As a face-to-face interpreter, you will deliver vital language interpretation services to a range of organisations, particularly within the Health and Social Care sectors.
Your assignments may include supporting individuals accessing services through the NHS, local councils, charities, and private businesses.
You will play a key role in breaking down communication barriers, ensuring that every person has access to the services and support they need.
***Please note: This role involves regular travel within and around the Wolverhampton area.***
Languages in Demand
Languages we are recruiting for include, but are not limited to:
Portuguese
Additionally, we welcome
British Sign Language (BSL) interpreters – both
Registered Sign Language Interpreters (RSLI) and
Trainee Sign Language Interpreters (TSLI) are encouraged to apply.
Essential Skills and Attributes:
- Excellent communication skills in both English and additional language
- Strong organisational abilities with the capacity to manage multiple assignments
- Professionalism and enthusiasm, with a respectful and empathetic approach
- Confidence interpreting across various environments (medical, social care, and community-based settings)
- Enhanced DBS Certificate (Child and Adult Workforce, with both Barred Lists) If you do not already hold one, we can assist you in completing your DBS application
- Eligibility for self-employment in the UK
