We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Senior Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in customer service and beverage preparation, with a passion for creating memorable experiences for our guests. The Senior Bartender will be responsible for delivering exceptional service, maintaining high standards, and ensuring the bar operates smoothly during busy periods.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with company standards.
- Provide excellent customer service, engaging with guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Oversee the bar area, ensuring cleanliness, organisation, and adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Manage stock levels, restocking supplies as needed, and assist with inventory control.
- Mentor junior bartenders and support team members to maintain high service standards.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible serving practices.
- Assist in training new staff members on cocktail preparation, customer service, and safety procedures.
- Contribute to creating a welcoming environment that encourages repeat business.
- Clean as you go and ensure the venue is kept to high clean standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hospitality, particularly within a bar or restaurant setting.
- Responsibility of alcohol serving practices.
- Excellent serving skills with a friendly and professional demeanour.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Demonstrated time management skills to ensure timely service during busy periods.
- Previous experience in a supervisory or senior role within a hospitality environment is desirable.
