Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

Managing product specification between Product Managers and China engineering teams.
Understanding project priorities on speed and cost to ensure projects are delivered on time and to correct requirements.
Concept and Initial 3D designs to assist China PE teams.
Initial Concept generation and design championing.
Reviewing final designs to ensure all options and 3rd party components are considered.
3D Renders and visual generation for marketing and internal use.
Regular reviews with Development Manager to ensure projects are progressing to required specification.
Support internal teams with regards to product information and marketing support.
Provide data for product information on PIM (product information management) System.
Continuous improvement on product visuals and modelling skills.
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.

Ideal candidate:

Qualifications/Skills Required:

Highly motivated and driven to deliver market leading products
Proficient use of 3D CAD software is critical (PTC Creo preferred)
Knowledge of rendering software (eg Keyshot) is beneficial
The ability to work on multiple projects at one time, and to tight deadlines.
Graduate in Product Design/Engineering with 3 years previous experience in product design and production (Electrical Wiring Accessories (Switches & Sockets)
