Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Bar Staff to join our team at a prestigious wedding venue. Responsibilities
- Serve drinks and beverages to guests in a courteous and timely manner, ensuring high standards of service.
- Prepare and replenish bar stock, including mixing cocktails and handling cash or card transactions accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards.
- Upsell premium drinks and special offers to maximise guest satisfaction and venue revenue.
- Monitor guest behaviour to ensure responsible alcohol service in accordance with licensing laws.
- Provide excellent guest services by engaging professionally with wedding guests, addressing their needs promptly.
- Support event staff with any additional duties required during weddings or special functions.
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant environments, with a focus on serving or bartending roles.
- Basic maths skills for processing payments accurately and managing cash register operations.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods.
- Excellent guest service skills, with a friendly and professional demeanour.
- Ability to upsell products effectively while maintaining a positive guest experience.
