Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Referee to officiate matches in a 5 a side football league, located at the 3G pitches at The Halo Aerospace Stadium in Morecambe. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the rules and regulations of the game, ensuring fair play and maintaining the integrity of the sport. This role requires excellent communication skills, quick decision-making abilities, and a passion for sportsmanship.

Duties

Officiate matches by enforcing the rules and regulations of the sport.
Make quick and accurate decisions regarding fouls, penalties, and other game-related incidents.
Maintain control over the match environment, ensuring that all participants adhere to the rules.
Communicate effectively with players, and other officials to facilitate smooth gameplay.
Keep track of time and score during matches, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
Attend pre-match briefings as required to stay updated on match night information.

Experience

Previous experience as a referee or official in football is preferred but not essential.
Strong knowledge of the rules and regulations specific to the sport being officiated.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to handle conflict calmly and professionally.
Ability to remain impartial and make decisions without bias.
This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about sports and wish to contribute positively to the sporting community while gaining valuable experience in officiating.

Job Types: Freelance, Zero hours contract

Pay: £15.00 per hour
