Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cleaner - Team Leader to oversee cleaning operations within commercial premises. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills, a keen eye for detail, and previous experience in janitorial services. This role offers an opportunity to lead a team, ensure high standards of cleanliness, and contribute to maintaining a safe and hygienic environment for clients. The position is fully paid and suitable for individuals committed to delivering exceptional cleaning services with leadership qualities.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily cleaning activities across designated sites, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards.
Lead and motivate a team of cleaning staff, providing guidance, support, and training as necessary.
Conduct regular inspections of work areas to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
Allocate tasks fairly among team members and monitor progress throughout shifts.
Maintain inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders when necessary.
Ensure all cleaning procedures adhere to client specifications and organisational standards.
Report any issues or hazards identified during inspections or daily operations to management promptly.
Foster a positive team environment through effective communication and professional conduct.

Qualifications

Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services, with a strong understanding of industry best practices.
Previous experience in a supervisory or team leader role is highly desirable.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
Good communication skills, capable of motivating team members and liaising effectively with clients.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning operations is preferred.
