Full job description

Location: Ulverston, Cumbria (on site/ office based)

We are a two-minute walk from Ulverston train station which offers great transport links from within Cumbria and Lancashire.

Hours: 37 hours per week, Mon-Fri (part-time considered)

The Role

As a Technical Account Manager your key responsibilities will include:

 Managing and developing a number of key customer accounts from initial opportunity to order fulfilment

 Championing key opportunities and customer projects across the business to achieve strategic growth

 Understanding our LED product range and matching this to customer needs

What we are looking for in the successful candidate:

A technical sales and/or engineering background and a keen interest in technology

▪

The ability to listen to customers and communicate with our technical team to create the bespoke products they require (Forge does not sell from a catalogue, but creates custom products for customers)

▪

The ability to translate technical specifications into tangible business benefits

▪

A good degree / commensurate experience and skills

▪

Effective communication skills - someone who can build rapport, a commercial thinker driven by results

▪

Enthusiastic with good people and teamwork skills and the ability to work well under pressure

▪

Good at presenting to colleagues and customers alike

▪

A proficient level of IT skills, especially Microsoft Office Excel

Additional commercial and technical product training will be provided for the right candidate.
