Due to continued growth, we are seeking a highly organised and proactive Engineering / Project Administrator to support our engineering and project delivery teams.
The Role
This is a varied and hands-on role supporting the day-to-day administration of engineering projects. You will work closely with engineers, suppliers, and production teams to ensure projects progress smoothly from design through to delivery.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project documentation, coordinating purchasing activities, preparing bills of materials, obtaining supplier quotations, and creating and maintaining technical records (including relivant manuals).
Key Responsibilities
- Issue and control engineering drawings from CAD software (Autodesk Inventor).
- Issue project documentation.
- Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Raise purchase orders and coordinate procurement activities.
- Track supplier deliveries and follow up on outstanding orders.
- Compile and maintain technical files and project records.
- Support engineers with project administration and document control.
- Ensure all project documentation is accurate, organised, and up to date.
- Liaise with suppliers, customers, and internal departments as required.
- Assist with project scheduling and progress tracking.
Skills & Experience
- Strong administrative and organisational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- Professional communication skills when dealing with suppliers and customers.
- Experience working in a technical, engineering, manufacturing, or industrial environment.
- Experience creating and managing Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Experience with purchasing and procurement processes.
- Experience using ERP, MRP, or manufacturing software systems.
- Knowledge of document control procedures.

Schedule - 8-hour shift, Monday-Friday
