Pay: £15.83 – £17.09 per hour

Job Summary

We're looking for flexible, reliable Qualified Childcare Workers to join our growing team, supporting nurseries, preschools, and primary schools across Gomersal, Mirfield and Rothwell and the Leeds area.

Youchoosework connects vetted, caring individuals with local childcare settings that need flexible cover for short-term staff absences. Whether you're a parent, a student looking for work around your studies, a retired childcare professional, or someone returning to the workforce, this role offers the flexibility to work when it suits you.

What You'll Be Doing

Supporting registered childcare settings and schools across Gomersal, Mirfield and Rothwell to cover short-term staff absences.
Working with children aged 0–11 in nurseries, preschools, and primary school settings.
Helping maintain safe staff-to-child ratios so settings can continue delivering high-quality care.

What We're Looking For

A genuine passion for working with children.
Good spoken and written English.

You should be based in or near Gomersal, Mirfield and Rothwell and able to travel to local childcare settings.
