This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with kitchen experience who’s eager to lead, learn, and shape the future of our food offering.
What You’ll Be Doing:
As our Chef (or aspiring Head Chef), you’ll be responsible for:
- Daily food preparation including breakfast, brunch, and lunch service
- Baking fresh goods such as cakes, pastries, and breads (preferred)
- Menu development – bring your creativity to seasonal and special menus
- Maintaining high food quality and presentation standards
- Stock control and ordering to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Ensuring food safety and hygiene compliance at all times
- Training and mentoring junior kitchen staff
- Collaborating with the café team to deliver a warm and welcoming customer experience
- Contribute with ideas & plans to help grow the business.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience as a Chef in a café, restaurant, or similar setting
- Previous experience (not essential but preferred) with international cuisines, including Indian.
- A genuine passion for food, baking, and hospitality
- A desire to grow into a leadership role
- Strong organisational skills and a calm, positive attitude under pressure
- Knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen best practices
- Creativity and enthusiasm for developing new dishes
- Flexibility to work weekends and busy periods

Pay: £12.71-£13.88 per hour
