Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and self-motivated Nail Technician to operate independently, providing professional nail and beauty services to clients. As a self-employed practitioner, you will have the flexibility to set your own schedule and build your client base, delivering exceptional customer service in a welcoming environment. The role involves applying nail enhancements, offering makeup application, and ensuring clients leave satisfied with their experience. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about beauty and dedicated to delivering high-quality treatments.

Responsibilities

Perform a range of nail treatments including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art
Provide professional makeup application services tailored to client preferences
Maintain a clean and hygienic workspace in accordance with health and safety standards
Consult with clients to understand their needs and recommend suitable treatments or products
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business
Manage appointments efficiently, ensuring punctuality and organisation
Keep up-to-date with the latest beauty trends and techniques in nail care and makeup application
Handle customer queries professionally, ensuring a positive experience from start to finish

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Nail Technician or similar role within the beauty industry
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse clients
Excellent customer service skills, demonstrating professionalism and attentiveness
Competence in makeup application is desirable but not essential; training can be provided if necessary
Fluency in English is required for clear communication with clients and suppliers
Self-motivated with organisational skills to manage your own appointments and business operations
Valid certification or licence in nail technology or beauty therapy (where applicable)

This role offers the opportunity to work independently while delivering outstanding beauty services. Applicants should be passionate about enhancing clients’ confidence through expert nail care and makeup application.

Pay: £13.00-£32.08 per hour
