What you'll do:

Deliver high-quality cleaning services across designated areas, ensuring consistently high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation.

Carry out both scheduled and reactive cleaning tasks, responding promptly to urgent requests, spillages, and contamination incidents.

Ensure all work is completed in line with site cleaning schedules, company standards, and client expectations.

Proactively identify cleanliness and hygiene issues, taking appropriate action and escalating concerns when necessary.

Replenish consumables and maintain cleaning supplies to ensure uninterrupted service delivery.

Operate cleaning equipment and machinery safely and effectively, reporting any faults or defects promptly.

Follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures, including COSHH, Risk Assessments, Method Statements (RAMS), and the correct use of PPE.

Build positive working relationships with clients, colleagues, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to support excellent service delivery.

Support site emergency and escalation procedures by responding effectively to urgent cleaning requirements when needed.

Promote sustainable cleaning practices through waste reduction, recycling, and environmentally responsible working methods.

Ensure cleaning equipment, chemicals, and storage areas are maintained safely and securely at all times.

Assist in maintaining a safe, welcoming, and professional environment for all building users.
What you'll bring:

Previous cleaning experience is beneficial, but not essential as full training will be provided.

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

Good time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and work efficiently during busy periods.

Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with clients, colleagues, and supervisors.

A proactive and reliable approach, with the confidence to identify issues and take appropriate action.

Ability to work independently using initiative, as well as collaboratively within a team.

Understanding of health & safety practices, including the safe use of cleaning equipment, PPE, and cleaning chemicals.

Awareness of COSHH regulations and safe working practices, or a willingness to learn.

A flexible attitude and willingness to respond to changing priorities and operational needs.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to escalate concerns appropriately.

A customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering excellent service.
