Job Scope
The Supply Chain Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day coordination of Wildsmith Skin's supply chain activities, ensuring the timely procurement, production, inventory management and delivery of finished goods and componentry.
The role acts as the primary point of contact for suppliers and manufacturing partners, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring production schedules, inventory levels and quality standards are met. The Supply Chain Coordinator works closely with Operations, Sales, NPD, Finance and external partners to ensure continuity of supply, accurate system data and efficient stock management across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
Procurement & Supplier Management
- Raise and manage purchase orders for finished goods, componentry and related materials.
- Maintain and update the purchase order tracker to ensure visibility of all open orders.
- Monitor and chase supplier production schedules and end dates to ensure on-time delivery.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with suppliers and manufacturing partners.
- Ensure suppliers adhere to agreed delivery requirements and service expectations.
- Manage the movement of componentry between suppliers, manufacturers and warehouses.
- Review forecasts and inventory requirements to ensure adequate component and finished goods availability.
Production & Quality Management
- Review and approve production samples against approved standards.
- Maintain production sample libraries and associated records.
- Manage product rework activities, including gift sets and promotional assemblies.
- Coordinate and resolve quality control issues relating to componentry and finished goods.
- Work with suppliers to investigate and implement corrective actions where required.
Inventory & Demand Planning
- Manage inventory levels of finished goods and componentry to support forecasted demand.
- Conduct regular inventory reviews and stock reconciliations.
- Support stock takes and inventory audits.
- Ensure consistency and accuracy between Wildsmith systems and supplier/manufacturer inventory records.
- Participate in demand planning activities with Sales and Operations teams.
Systems & Master Data Management
- Create and maintain product SKUs within CIN7 and relevant reports.
- Create, maintain and update Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Create and update Bill of Exchange Lists (BELs) and other product master data.
- Book stock receipts into warehouse management and inventory systems.
- Maintain product cost data and ensure COGs pricing is regularly reviewed and updated.
- Support reporting and data accuracy across supply chain systems.
Artwork & Product Information Management
- Review artwork files and coordinate required changes with the NPD team.
- Manage routine artwork amendments, including barcode labels and regulatory updates.
- Work with NPD to ensure all technical documentation, artwork files and supporting product information are current and correctly version controlled.
- Ensure relevant documentation, including MSDS and product specifications, is maintained and accessible.
Finance & Administration
- Review and approve supplier invoices in accordance with company procedures.
- Support the reconciliation of purchase orders, deliveries and supplier invoices.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation relating to procurement and supply chain activities.
Skills & Experience
- Minimum1-2 years experience in supply chain, procurement, production coordination or inventory management.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Experience working with ERP/inventory management systems (CIN7 experience desirable).
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong communication and relationship management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
- Experience working with suppliers, manufacturers and third-party logistics providers preferred.
- Understanding of inventory control, production planning and supply chain processes.
This role is based at Highfield Park in Hook, Hampshire, with a view to four days onsite, and one day at home. Wildsmith Skin also have a London office and occasional travel to Holborn, as well as to some of our supplier offices, will be necessary so applicants should have a British driving licence. In addition, the Highfield Park office is not served by public transport.
Pay: Up to £35,000.00 per year
