- 9:00 am 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday, plus participation in the on-call rota (partial shift)
This is a full-time Locum Appointment for a Training post, fixed term from 6th August 2026 for 6 months. The successful applicant will be based at Stobhill Hospital and one of the Northeast CMHTs, providing services to both inpatients community.
To carry out the duties of a basic trainee in general adult psychiatry.
The post is part of RCGP and RCPysch approved training schemes and has excellent training opportunities in general adult psychiatry.
This will involve the assessment and treatment of patients with mental illness in the inpatient wards at Stobhill Hospital and in the outpatient setting. The trainee will work closely with the CMHTs.
On call duties include the assessment of psychiatric emergencies at Stobhill Hospital plus general medical and psychiatric care to the psychiatric in-patient beds at Stobhill Hospital. Applicants should be able to evidence competencies of a CT1 / Clinical Fellow doctor and full GMC registration.
