Job Title: Administrator
Location: Halton Child Development Centre, Crow Wood Health Park, Crow Wood Lane, Widnes, Cheshire, WA8 3NA
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday 9.00am – 5.00pm
Trust Location: North Cheshire and Mersey FT (was Bridgewater)
Role type: Temporary for 3 months with possibility of extension

Duties to include but not limited to:
· Act as first point of contact for all client enquiries, responding to telephone and face to face enquiries in an efficient, tactful and professional manner.
· Provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to health professionals within the department and to provide a customer focused service to the users of the clinics.
· Ensure that services are delivered smoothly and effectively.
· Administer clerical work of the department, including arranging appointments and clinic organisation.
· Administer stock of office supplies and medical equipment.
· Dealing with queries and complaints via email and phone
· Book clinic and meeting rooms within the premises and keep room availability updated as appropriate.
· Scan records as appropriate
· Undertake, independently, routine duties for the team e.g. the booking and sending of appointments, re-organising cancelled appointments, organising referral lists with knowledge of priority level as issued by the team lead.
· Carry out general reception duties where required maintaining a neat and tidy reception environment.
·
This role may require you to show evidence of vocational level 3 qualification or at least 2 years relevant experience.
You’ll learn the following whilst working at the trust:
1. An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS
2. Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times
3. A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation
You’ll have the following skills/experience:
· Candidate must have good organisational skills
· A positive, can-do mindset is essential for this role.
· Able to speak politely and professionally with parents and carers and professionals is required.
· Able to cope with an ever-changing workload.
· Knowledge of SystmOne would be a advantage.
· Experience of dealing with queries and complaints via email and phone is preferred
· Previous administration experience and waiting list management experience preferred.
